Activity Summary

Meeting point: Mirador de Los Poleos.

Time: 9:30h

Once we all meet with the Guide at the meeting point, he will give us a short summary of the activity and will talk about some instructions for the progression.

This circular path will begin with a comfortable ascending path. At the beginning, we will cross through a forest full of Canarian pines, a tree known for its tremendous resistance and that has survived the volcanic episodes of the islands.

Once we reach our highest point on our route “Not the top of the volcano due to it is not allowed”, we can begin to see this magnificent volcano that rises 1,561 meters above sea level. From this point we can begin to see how the lava flows took over this land and we will also observe how the Canary Island pine refused to throw in the towel. From this point on, we will be accompanied by incredible views of Teide and Pico Viejo that, without hesitation, will not go unnoticed, making this tour gain many more scenic beauty.

Shortly before ending our route we will find the icing on the cake, where we can walk on long flows of already solidified lava !.

Without hesitation, this trail is perfect if you want to walk through the land of volcanoes and enjoy a great contrast of colours and landscapes.
